When should I consult the gynecologist?
Of the 100 couples trying to conceive naturally:
- 20 will conceive within the 1st month,
- 75 will conceive within 6 months,
- 85 will be conceive within 1 year.
Since female fertility gradually decreases after age 35 and abruptly after the age of 40, it is a good idea if a woman is over 35 to go to a reproductive gynecology specialist after 6 months of fruitless efforts to conceive or less time so that both the man and the woman will undergo the necessary tests timely and without loosing any time .
